Book a ticket
A few helpful hints for when you are travelling with Wexford Bus; including how to plan, book and prepare for your trip.
Book your ticket in advance
We recommend that passenger’s book in advance so that your seat is guaranteed on the service and you can board the bus more quickly!
If purchasing a ticket from the driver, have the exact fare ready.
If you are purchasing a ticket from the driver we ask all customers to have the exact fare to hand. On the Wexford Bus Connect local services we can only accept the exact fare as the driver has no change available (including WX1 & WX2 Wexford Town, to/from Rosslare strand and Kilmore Quay and the Bridge Loop services)
Use our live tracker to track your bus
You can track your bus on our live bus tracker to see where it is right now and when it will be approaching your bus stop (This service is only available on selected routes including Route 740, 740A, 340, 376 and NU11).
Keep an eye on our social media pages for any travel updates
It is a good idea to follow our social media pages so you can be kept up to date with any new routes or services, timetable changes or possible service delays.
Make the most of the free wi-fi
We have free wi-fi on our coaches so please feel free to logon and enjoy.
Pack your charging cable so you can keep your devices charged while on the go
The majority of our coach fleet has USB ports available so you can charge your phone or devices while on board. So, no matter how much time is spent scrolling through Instagram or Tik Tok you can get off the bus with a fully charged phone. Look above your head to see if there is one available.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help
We have a friendly, helpful team of drivers, if you’d like a little bit of extra assistance or would like to be advised when you reach your stop please ask, we’ll do our best to help.
Bring your headphones
It’s a good idea to have your headphones to hand so you can listen to music or your favourite podcast while on the move.
Be mindful of other passengers & our driver
We ask all passengers to please be courteous to your fellow passengers and our driver. If you must take a call while travelling or are chatting with others please be as discreet as possible.
What’s chilly for you, may be too hot for another passenger. We try our best to find a happy medium temperature, but by wearing layers you will have your very own temperature control tool.
Sit back, relax and take in the scenery
When travelling by coach you get to see the world at a whole new vantage point. We travel through beautiful countryside so we recommend you sit back, relax and take a moment to take it all in!
