Free travel on Wexford Bus Connect Services with Child Leap Cards July 6-19

All Child Leap Card holders (aged between the ages of 4 and 18) can travel free on the Wexford Bus Connect services for a fortnight from Monday July 6th.  The free travel will automatically apply when using a child Leap Card on any of the Wexford Bus Connect Services including the WX1 service around Wexford town and services between Wexford and Kilmore Quay, Rosslare Strand and Castlebridge.

This free travel promotion will be running for two weeks and is to encourage families and children to use public transport for their leisure activities in the school holidays, and to get out and about and enjoy more of what Wexford has to offer. It also highlights the cheaper fares which are available to Child Leap Card holders, and serves as a reminder for families to get their Leap Cards, and to get used to using them, in plenty of time before the new school year begins.

This promotion is also being run on Dublin Bus, Luas and Dart and with other operators throughout the country.  Full details on this, on how to get a Free Child Leap card, and on the identification requirements for older teens see www.ChildLeapCard.ie.
