  1. Booking tickets in advance and thereby reserving your seat is recommended (available on routes 740, 740A, 340, 376 & NUM11)

  3. We have a number of ticket agents that sell Wexford Bus Tickets, Leap Cards and top-up leap cards. Ticket agents include: Gwalia Stores, Gorey; The Bus Stop Shop, Enniscorthy and School & Office Supplies, Wexford.

What is a Seat Only Reservation?

A “Seat Only Reservation” is not a valid ticket for travel and must be accompanied by a valid ticket or free travel pass.

Following on from customer demand we have introduced an option on the web that allows intending passengers who have a valid ticket such as a weekly ticket or Department of Social Protection Free Travel Pass the option to purchase a “Seat Only Reservation”. This enables these passengers to reserve a seat on the bus at a specific time. There is a charge in each direction for this service. Please note this is an optional service only and passengers must also have a valid ticker or free travel pass.

I did not receive my ticket after I booked my ticket online, what should I do?

If you booked and paid for a ticket online and have not yet received it by email we suggest the following. Firstly, check your spam/junk email folder, sometimes your email filter will direct it into this folder by mistake. If this is unsuccessful then please contact the office on info@wexfordbus.com and request your ticket is resent to you.

How do I apply for a Tax Saver on Monthly Ticket?

Can I bring my dog or pet on the bus?

Guide dogs, assistance dogs and therapy dogs accompanying passengers are permitted to travel on all Wexford Bus services free of charge assuming that there is capacity for both the passenger and the dog. All Assistance dogs must be clearly identifiable either by their coat or harness to distinguish it as a working dog and not a pet. No other dogs, animals or pets of any description will be allowed to travel on Wexford Bus.

Can I bring my bicycle on the coach?

You can bring your bicycle on our coaches on condition that there is room in the luggage compartment (the driver will assess this). We do not have capacity to bring bicycles on the low floor buses that operate on the Wexford Bus Connect (local services). As part of our commitment to sustainable transport there is no longer a charge for carrying bicycles. Bicycles are carried at the owners own risk. The driver’s decision is final.
