St Patrick’s Day Weekend 2025

Wishing you a very Happy St Patrick’s Day from all at Wexford Bus. Please note the following special arrangements including changes to bus stop locations over St Patrick’s Day Weekend.

SUNDAY MARCH 16th

We will operate our normal Sunday timetable with the following exceptions

740 ROUTE – WEXFORD TO/FROM DUBLIN CITY & AIRPORT
There will be no 18:30 service ex Wexford

340 ROUTE -WEXFORD TO WATERFORD
There will be no 20:30 service ex Wexford or 22:00 service ex Waterford 

376 ROUTE – WEXFORD TO CARLOW
There will be no services on Sunday 16th of March. 

884 ROUTE – GOREY TO WEXFORD via Ballycanew
There will be no services on Sunday 16th of March.. 

ST PATRICK’S DAY MONDAY MARCH 17th

740 ROUTE – WEXFORD TO/FROM DUBLIN CITY & AIRPORT
The Sunday/Bank Holiday timetable will operate on St Patrick’s Day, Monday March 17^th, however,  there will be no 18:30 service ex Wexford.The following additional alterations will be in place to facilitate parades.

• WEXFORD: 11:30 service ex Wexford – Bus will be unable to pick up at our regular stop in Redmond Square, we will pick up on the Carcur side of the Junction at the bottom of 1798 street approximately 150-200 yards from our regular stop.
• GOREY: All services between 9am and 5pm will depart from bus stop by the roundabout near Tesco on Paul Funge Boulevard.
• DUBLIN: We are advised that all our regular bus stops in Dublin City will be accessible

740X ROUTE – WEXFORD DIRECT TO/FROM DUBLIN CITY & AIRPORT
The Sunday/Bank Holiday timetable will operate on, Monday March 17^th.

740A ROUTE – GOREY TO/FROM DUBLIN CITY & AIRPORT VIA ARKLOW & WICKLOW
The Sunday/Bank Holiday timetable will operate on St Patricks Day, Monday March 17^th with the following exceptions:. 

• NORTHBOUND: The 13:40 service will not operate.
• SOUTHOUND: The 16:50 service will not operate
• GOREY: All services between 9am and 5pm will depart from bus stop by the roundabout near Tesco on Paul Funge Boulevard.
• ARKLOW: The bus will not service Arklow Town South Knockmore & Lidl at 13:30 (Southbound).  The bus will service Arklow Town North Ferrybank at this time.
• DUBLIN: We are advised that all our regular bus stops in Dublin City will be accessible

340 ROUTE -WEXFORD TO WATERFORD
The Sunday/Bank Holiday timetable will operate on St Patricks Day, Monday March 17^th.  With the closure of the bridge in New Ross the following additional alterations will be in place:

• WEXFORD TO WATERFORD the 12.30, 14.30 and 20.30 services ex Wexford will not operate.  The 10.30 service ex Wexford will not serve The Clock Tower, The Mall or Parnell St in Waterford.
• WATERFORD TO WEXFORD: The 14:00, 16:00 and 22:00 services ex Waterford (Whitfield Hospital) will not operate. The 12.00 service ex Waterford will not serve Parnell St or the Clock Tower.  

376 ROUTE – WEXFORD TO CARLOW
There will be no services on St Patrick’s Day, 17th March.

UM11 ROUTE – GOREY TO MAYNOOTH
There will be no services on St Patrick’s Day, 17th March.

WI08 ROUTE – GOREY TO WATERFORD
There will be no services on St Patrick’s Day, 17th March.

884 ROUTE – GOREY TO WEXFORD via Ballycanew
There will be no services on St Patrick’s Day, 17th March.

WEXFORD BUS CONNECT SERVICES:  WX1 & WX2 WEXFORD TOWN, THE BRIDGE LOOP & KILMORE QUAY SERVICES:
There will be no Wexford Bus Connect services on St Patricks Day, Monday March 17^th
