Wexford Bus Network is Widening with New Daily Services to Carlow and Carlow IT

Wexford Bus will be operating a new route from Wexford to Carlow and Carlow IT via Enniscorthy and Bunclody from Monday February 6th 2017.  The introduction of this service to Carlow enhances the Wexford Bus network considerably and offers passengers greater connectivity between the towns and cities of the South east.

With this new route, Wexford Bus will have daily services operating from Wexford to Carlow IT, WIT and the colleges and universities in Dublin.  “We carry a large number of students to and from college in Dublin and Waterford on both a daily and weekly basis and recognise that many students want to commute to college.  This new Wexford Bus service to/from Carlow IT will make that easier and more affordable for students from County Wexford.” explains Brendan Crowley, Managing Director, Wexford Bus.

“We are continually enhancing our network of services, we started a new service between Wexford and Waterford in 2015 and have already extended this to operate up to 8 daily services in each direction.  Each year we have increased the number of services operating to Dublin City & Airport and now operate up to 18 daily services in each direction. The addition of Carlow to our network is the natural next step for Wexford Bus and we look forward to serving the passengers on this route as we develop the connectivity of all the major towns and cities in the South East.” commented Brendan.

Route 376 will be the new route between Wexford and Carlow via Enniscorthy, Bunclody and Ballon.  The first service in the morning will leave Wexford (Redmond Square) at 07.30 and is scheduled to arrive in Carlow IT for 08.45.  Wexford Bus will operate up to 3 daily services in each direction and the coaches operating on the service will be wi-fi enabled and will accept Leap Cards.  For full timetable and fares see the Wexford to Carlow timetable and fares
Wexford Bus also operate route 740between Wexford and Dublin City & Airport via Enniscorthy, Ferns, Gorey and Arklow and route 340 between Wexford and Waterford via New Ross. With a Leap Student Travel Card, students can travel to and from Dublin City for €9 per journey.
